RETAINING WALLS

One of the most common requests for hardscaping is for a retaining wall. A stone retaining wall can be used for many reasons yet they largely go unnoticed in a landscape. They are generally used to level an area for a patio or walkway, help prevent soil erosion, add usable land, assist with a drainage issue, or allow a pool or other landscape feature to be installed. Retaining walls are also often used to add seating or create multi-tier gardens and can be designed using mortared stone or manufactured block systems.

If you have a retaining wall requirement or think you may need one, the first step is to contact your consultant for a site visit where s/he can recommend the best wall to meet your needs and budget.
