Stone
Natural stone, often called field stone, flagstone, or bluestone, is aesthetically pleasing, durable, easy to maintain.
Pavers
Pavers are man-made “stone”, with similar size, shape and color. Because pavers tend to be cooler underfoot with smooth edges, they are the material of choice for homes with small children.
Gravel
The growing popularity of gravel is related to its increased availability and also to an expanding awareness of its richness in color, shape, and size. Most focus on its function and not on its form. Crushed gravel is at first, rough on the feet but over time the pieces lock as they settle, providing a more stable surface. It keeps weeds to a minimum, helps hold moisture in, and makes everything, including planting beds, look finished.
DESIGN/Walkways & Paths
