Jeff June is our newest Account Manager to join the YardScapes team and proudly hails from Newtown, CT. As the saying goes in the Landscape Industry, his local roots run deep, and despite graduating from Newtown High School over 20 years ago, he still maintains a close connection to his community as a football coach for his son Kyle’s team (who also plays lacrosse).
Humble, positive, and sincere are the best ways we can describe Jeff, who brings not only great qualities as a person and leader, but vast work experience that will surely help him build the region’s best landscape solutions.
Prior to joining YardScapes Jeff was an Account Executive for a Houston, TX based corporation responsible for the sales of large-asset hydraulic and pneumatic tools prized by the power and oil industries. In 2013 Jeff joined a local wholesale plant nursery where he “cultivated” his love of landscaping which he defines as: “helping Clients bring their ideal settings to life and working with them to create their own heaven on Earth.”
Jeff is the classic “people person” and when he isn’t raising his son or helping clients actualize their dreams he enjoys sharing life experiences with friends, travelling, being in Nature, reading, and as self-proclaimed culinary connoisseur: finding unique dining throughout his travels.
A philosopher of sorts, Jeff believes that there is no symmetry in Nature, but there is balance which he plans to instill with his clientele, their properties, and fellow YardScapes employees.
His favorite quote from Confucius ““Choose a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life.” reflects the sentiment that he feels about his career, and further cements how happy and confidant we are to have him with us on the YardScapes team.
