If you happen to see a green-clad whirlwind making its way across the landscape, somehow making everything neater and healthier in it’s path, chances are it Laurie! Laurie joined on with us in Spring of 2018 after a long stint with a local Public School System and has a ton of energy, evidenced by her hustle, and the fact that she is a drummer for a heavy metal band! Respect for all living things is paramount for the way she operates, recently lamenting that it drives her nuts to see rough handling of plants by inexperienced individuals. When she isn’t “Yard-Aping” (did we just make up a word?) Laurie can be found renovating her 1953 home, doing her own gardening, playing and listening to music, or spending time with her husband. We’re incredibly happy to have Laurie and her tough, yet gentle nature on our team and look forward to seeing more of her solid work ethic and attention to detail applied to more gardens as the season unfolds!
