On Monday, July 14th, 15 YardScapes employees joined Shayne and over 400 members of the National Association of Landscape Professionals for their annual service event, Renewal & Remembrance. Volunteers were split into two groups for two projects: one at Arlington National Cemetery and the other at the FDR Memorial on the National Mall.
Our crew worked with the National Park Service to help improve the grounds at the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial along with over 130 other volunteers by spreading, literally, tons of mulch! Another crew pruned the famous cherry trees, while a third team was tasked with a fence removal project.
