On April 27th, 2019, Volunteers lead by YardScapes Inc. performed their annual Day of Service at four local non-profits and Northville Elementary School. “Apes” (YardApe Employees), members from the local community, and business owners representing BNI Business Bobcats of Danbury teamed up after breakfast hosted at YardScapes headquarters to clean and spruce up the sites. Participants cleaned up gardens, planted trees, removed harmful invasive plants and excess leaves, and even helped out with the rehabilitation of a “yurt” used by Pratt Nature Center to conduct classes. A BBQ was held at YardScapes headquarters after the efforts and volunteers spent the afternoon with grilled foods along with games and choice tasty beverages.
We kindly thank all of our volunteers and the non-profit associations that allowed us to hold the event!
