LAWN FERTILIZATION PROGRAM
Autumn is a great time to fertilize because our winters are a time of dormancy and grasses need to recover after heat and drought. Grass is still growing but not with the enthusiasm it had in the spring and summer months. Grass will now slow to where it hardly needs to be mowed. At this time, fertilization will help to replenish the soil, give grasses strength, allow for better winter color, help grasses to store energy, resist winter injury and disease, increase their rooting and therefore, increasing spring greening!
