On Saturday, December 2nd, we held our annual Year-End Holiday Party & Awards Banquet at Candlewood Valley Country Club.
This event is when we recognize outstanding achievements and contributions to the company throughout the year, and a total of 11 awards were presented to our hardworking and dedicated employees.
It was a night filled with joy, laughter and appreciation for all the hard work that each and every one of our employees put in each and every day. I am proud to have such a talented and committed team! -Shayne

And the Winners Are…
Ramiro Y was the winner of the “Happy Client Award” for the most client compliments throughout 2023. He was also a very happy winner of the raffle grand prize at the end of the night!
Joe (L) accepts the “Mr. Consistency Award” from Tom (R), Operations Manager. Joe is now 3 for 3 after being named ‘Scaper of the Year in 2022 and Rookie of the Year in 2021!
Mauricio received the “Zuckerberg Social Media Award” for posting on social media the fantastic photographs of the stunning work he performs in the field.
Joaquin was awarded the “Heavy Duty Award” for the team member who continually gives 110% Joaquin is an authentic go-getter who works hard and repeatedly requests to be put on the “big” jobs! He also moves so quick we couldn’t get a photo of him accepting his award!
TEAM PLAYER AWARD – (L-R) Rene, Max and Manny At its core, being a team player means being ready, willing, and able to support the team, no matter what the job requires. This year’s winners all performed a variety of different jobs throughout the season and brought a positive attitude to work each day. All three are perfect examples of what it means to be a team player.
2023 ROOKIE OF THE YEAR – Yaminton We had more rookies this year than in the past, so the competition was strong! Rookies were on all divisions across the board and our seasoned crews did fantastic training them! Yaminton started off the year with snow removal, spent the first half of our season in estate management then finished the year working on a variety of larger construction jobs.
GOLDEN MOWER AWARD – Ruben & Manny P One of our favorite memories from last year was when Filemon won this award and brought Ramiro up with him to accept it. This year we are recognizing both members of the mow crew. They stayed together the entire year, were extremely reliable, worked well together, and most importantly, did an outstanding job on their properties while meeting performance goals. In 2023, this team completed 952 jobs with 101% efficiency!
GOLDEN PRUNERS AWARD – Florentino Florentino did a great job at filling in gaps in both our estate management and trimming crews. He is always willing to do whatever is needed and takes a ton of pride in the work that he does. Unfortunately, Florentino could not make the party to accept his award.
GOLDEN SHOVEL AWARD – Jali Jali really took off this year! He came into 2023 with a great attitude and worked a lot of big jobs. He spent the first half of our season working with Jesus, and then transitioned into having his own crew and taking one of the rookies under his wing for the remainder of the season.
GOLDEN CREW LEADER – Jesus Being a great crew leader requires a number of different skills and qualities. You must perform all work to a quality that exceeds our client’s expectations, do so efficiently and all while also directing a crew and allowing them to learn and grow. Jesus did all these things while also taking on new jobs himself.2023 ‘Scaper of the Year
