Wow. We are halfway through the year already! While 2020 certainly has been challenging, we are hoping that the summertime will provide us all a little more “normalcy” as we all venture outside more and carefully attempt to spend time with our families and friends while making those priceless summer memories that last a lifetime.
Of course, with so many people home, our presence may be more obvious than in the past. An inviting landscape is the result of careful collaboration and timing of services. From mowing, fertilization, dethatching and pest control. to edging, mulching, weeding, and pruning, our calendar is quite full.
The recent hot weather and lack of rain is resulting in many plants and lawns beginning to show significant signs of drought stress. It is very important that annuals, new plantings of shrubs and trees, as well as lawns are given additional watering so that they can continue to establish deep roots and perform their best. We are also doing supplemental watering if needed, but we encourage you to help your landscape plantings by closer observation and hand watering when necessary.
